About the Team
The People Team’s mission is to enable talent across the organization to do their best work while innovating for the future. Our team is global in nature and focuses on exceptional client service while being genuine, authentic, and empathetic to employees and their needs across the organization. In this role, you have the unique ability to help build the capabilities for the organization through learning experiences and organizational development while sitting on the People Leadership Team. This role also serves as a cultural ambassador on engagement, inclusion, and belonging.

Location: San Francisco
Our headquarters is located in downtown San Francisco, where our group of cross-functional experts assembles to create experiences for Crunchyroll and VRV’s passionate communities.

About the Role

  • Drive our learning and development programs in coordination with our parent companies - Otter Media and Warner Bros.
  • Instructional design and facilitate (in varied modalities) content to supplement any parent company training, especially in the areas of professional growth, engagement, and leadership
  • Ensure scheduling and logistics support for learning and inclusion initiatives across the organization
  • Research new vendors to meet varied development needs and provide solutions that bring superior results for teams and individuals
  • Develop and implement activities that help hone our inclusion and belonging initiatives
  • Coordinate performance cycles, talent planning, and other talent initiatives in tangent with HR Business Partners
  • Act as a go-to internal expert on learning and engagement - consulting with leaders and individual contributors across the organization
  • Evolve our learning roadmap with a clear and impassioned vision of how to bring our unique core strengths and the combination of assets to life
  • Lead employees to engage their hearts and minds to develop their skills to become their personal best, both as individuals and as thriving teams
  • Coordinate and manage ad-hoc projects from start to finish
Essential Education
  • Bachelor’s Degree in either Org Development, HR, Business, or relevant social science fields required. Master's degree in those areas strongly preferred.
Your Professional Profile
  • Intermediate skills in instructional design work for non-technical training
  • Advanced experience with creating presentation decks
  • Strong organization and ability to balance a number of tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to take initiative with little direction and run with projects
  • Demonstrated ability to facilitate varied areas of business content for audiences from individual contributors to executives
  • Passionate about driving engagement at an organization through company culture, learning and development, as well as diversity, inclusion, and belonging initiatives
  • You have a strong solutions focus, ability to quickly identify problems and drive appropriate solutions
  • You have demonstrated results in influencing and driving initiatives in a matrixed environment.
