I understand your pain...I was so excited and then, reality kicked in :/

What is kinda infuriating is that I have access to all the other yugioh shows BUT this one. Yeah...

For a moment I was filled with joy, but looks like this is a tragedy for us Canadians and our fellow region restricted countries.

Still, nice to see that Yugioh's getting a simulcast.

when I saw the announcement on facebook, I was overjoyed, when I read the article, I grabbed a six pack of beer and drank my sorrows away, a real pity it isn't being shown in Australia, then I realised there are other sites that I can watch it on, even though I would need to wait between 12 and 24 hours to get the subtitles, and even longer before the dubs.

No. 4K Media Inc. owns the dub rights to all Yu-Gi-Oh! series. 4K Media is owned by Konami.

This is becoming the norm more often than not now. All Gundam's are produced and dubbed in-house as are most Aniplex properties. Plus if a company doesn't pick up a Toei property, then they will often choose to dub it in-house.

Unfortunately, the only bag thing is that VRAINS is available to see here in North America, and most of European countries, except for Canada, Italy, France, and Asia. Although, when they said Asia, I think that may be the entire continent of Asia, but I am not quite sure. If it is, then anyone and everyone who lives outside of Japan can't watch it here.

Why is the simulcast so much later than the Japanese air time? Its a full day and a half later.

The simulcast time listed on the show page is based on the time the most recent episode was posted. (That is how it works for all series on CR). You will not see the actual simulcast time reflected there until the first simulcast episode is posted on Wednesday, June 7.

As the first message states, "Make sure to catch the newest episodes every Wednesday!", and the show is broadcast at 6:25 pm on Wednesdays in Japan (which would be 5:25 am EDT in the US).

Bizarre the kiwis getting it and the ozzies not. Doesn't seem like it could be one of the DVD/BD distributors grabbing the rights ... they normally get both at the same time.
