Adorable ‘Kamisama Minarai: Himitsu no Cocotama’ Anime Series Announced
Posted by Chris Beveridge THE FANDOM POST

Kamisama MinaraiThrough a new site and video announcement, Bandai has revealed a new series that will land this fall with Kamisama Minarai: Himitsu no Cocotama, which translates as God Apprentices: Secretive Cocotama. No cast or staff were revealed regarding the production, but the promo makes it look all kinds of adorable. since it’s being classified as a kids show, it’s dicey as to whether something like this might see a simulcast. But considering the cute factor, let’s hope it does, since you can see Bandai potentially wanting to maximize merchandising for this worldwide.

Plot concept: “Cocotama” are tiny gods born from the thoughts and feelings of objects that people use with great care. The fact that Cocotama wear part of the egg they hatch out of as underwear is proof that they are still apprentices. The Cocotama use a mysterious magic, and they train hard to be of use to humans and to become full gods. They live inside human houses and stealthily move around to help humans find things they have lost, although they make many mistakes.

Heroic Legend of Arslan Discs' Bonus Anime Short Previewed ANN NEWS

Each Blu-ray/DVD volume to include Hiromu Arakawa's 4-panel manga & anime shorts

The official website for The Heroic Legend of Arslan (Arslan Senki) television anime posted a preview of the bonus Ar-Sen 4-Koma Gekijō (Ar-Sen Four-Panel Theater) shorts on Sunday. In the "Ue ni wa, Ue ga" (When Attacked From High, Block From High) short, Vafleez teaches the worn-out Arslan the basics of sword-fighting — until he receives a surprise from behind.

The limited first editions of the television anime's Blu-ray Disc and DVD volumes will bundle original four-panel manga by original manga artist Hiromu Arakawa (Fullmetal Alchemist, Silver Spoon). The volumes will also include anime shorts of these four-panel manga, like the one above. The first of eight volumes will ship in Japan on July 23.

The television anime premiered on April 5. Funimation is streaming the anime as it airs in Japan, and it describes the story:

In the kingdom of Pars lies the Royal Capital of Ecbatana, a powerful city ruled by the fearsome King Andragoras. Arslan, the 14-year-old prince of Pars, is a green ruler and lacks the fierce leadership skills possessed by his father. After his father falls victim to a treacherous plot headed by one of his most trusted comrades, the kingdom of Pars falls in the war with the neighboring nation of Lusitania. Narrowly escaping with his life, Arslan must embark on a journey to reclaim the fallen kingdom and fulfill his destiny as ruler of Pars.

Funimation is also streaming a broadcast dub of the series.

The television anime adapts The Heroic Legend of Arslan manga that Hiromu Arakawa (Fullmetal Alchemist) launched in Bessatsu Shōnen Magazine in 2013. The manga, in turn, adapts Yoshiki Tanaka's original novel series which already inspired a 1991-93 original video anime series.

Kodansha published the fourth manga volume in Japan on June 12, and Kodansha Comics published the third volume in North America in May. Crunchyroll is also releasing the manga as it appears in Japan. Central Park Media released the earlier 1991-93 original video anime.

While no details are available regarding the production, it’s been revealed that the manga series Hatsukoi Monster will be receiving an anime adaptation in the future. The original series was created by Akira Hiyoshimaru in ARIA and it began its run back in the summer of 2013 with four volumes released so far. The property received a drama CD with its most ercent volume back in February, where it used some well-known actors in the main roles, which could have been a test run to see how well it had done.

Which means it’s one we’d love to see and hear in action.

Plot concept: Nikaido Kaho is a daughter of a rich family and her whole life everyone’s been nice to her. When moving to her new high school dormitory, she almost gets hit by a truck but is saved by a boy. It’s love at first sight for Kaho but when asking him his name, he tells her she’s weird. Kaho is shocked since it’s the first time anyone’s ever said mean things to her. Soon enough, she finds out that the boy who saved her lives in the same dormitory and so she bravely confesses her love. The boy says his name is Kanade and agrees to go out with her. Unfortunately, the following day Kaho finds out that her first boyfriend is a 5th grader.
