The new way you watch shows on your queue is a little annoying. Example is Dragonball Super I just watched episode 10, but now it will just play episode 47 with no way of getting to the other episodes from the queue. Is there something I'm missing on the new functionality for the queue?

Yay... New appleTV app.

However, the new app Queue is broken.

As others have reported, from the Queue there is no way to do anything aside from watching the currently available episode.

You can't get show info or watch other episodes of that show. To do that I would need to browse or search for the show - which is dumb because it's right there in my queue.

I hope this is a quickly fixable glitch and not something that will take months/years to update.

Seriously, please fix this crap. Frankly, it was better before... the UI isn't clever... change it back.

Please fix the way the queue is functioning. This is beyond annoying. It makes me not want to use the app. Or add the option to return to the previous version of the app. It worked better the old way.

When nighttime mode is off the screen is way too white making it glaring to look at and you cant see which category you selected at the top. And when you pick a title to watch you have to scroll all the way down to the bottom to watch new episodes.

Hi,

I have to agree with the others posting here, the new Crunchyroll app UI is very frustrating.

I really dislike that My Queue now plays only the most current episode directly, with no other show options available. The loss of History is completely puzzling.

About the only nice thing is that I can scroll through a lot of shows more quickly but, seriously, I'd much rather have more control and better personalized options.

Overall, the new app feels generic and is much less usable than the old app. Unless improvements are being rolled out very soon, I'd rather we get the old app back.

Hi,

Is there a way to get the drama tab back, like in the old app? My wife likes to watch the japanese live action doramas, but since the update you can just find them by searching, there is a live action drama section, but i can't sort it by new shows or anything... very annoying... take a look at how netflix is doing their apps, they work way better.... especially if you wanna keep a whole series in the playlist, not every single episode of it, it would be easier to keep your library clean.

Ugh...I'm also finding it annoying that episodes are not listed from oldest to newest, which means you have to scroll all the way down to the bottom to catch up on recent episodes other than the latest.. For shows with a ton of episodes (One Piece, for example,) that's a lot of scrolling. (Ideally, we should have to option to change the list order as needed., or at least be able to jump to the top or bottom of the list.)

The new app is just horrible. Very disappointed guys...the old app worked might not have been perfect but it worked so much better than this one.

Right now I seriously have to consider going back to using a web browser to watch Crunchyroll.

I hope the apple TV app gets fixed as soon as possible. Reverting back to the previous version would be better than nothing. I don't see myself renewing my subscription if this isn't fixed before the season ends.

I am having log in issue from Apple TV. I have been use it on Apple TV for a year (4th gen) without problem until now. From reading this post, it doesn't seem that Tech Support cares about the Apple TV users at all. Is my only option to cancel the service to stop Crunchyroll from charging me? What a shame!

The new apple tv app sucks you can't unsubscribe to a show using your queue you can't watch other episodes with out using browse to find your shows even though you have them in your fav's also don't show date time of show which I liked and no season search option all around a very crappy app update.

Can we please get this app fixed it so broken.

List of things that are broken:
The normal screen settings are blindingly white it doesnt even match apple tvs backround colour.
Even when you go to updated section, when you pick a show it goes to the first season and not the updated one.
When you pick a show it starts at the first episode and not the last episode, it should already be on the last episode you watched just like Netflix.
The home section should be reserved for your queue and history plus there is no history tab to begin with and i dont like putting stuff in queue because it breaks your xbox app if you try to turn it on.
When you you watch a video and its about to end it should play the next episode and shouldnt ask you if you want to play the next one.

This isnt a complaint about apple tv but all the apps in general do not release videos that arent ready for viewing. Most of the time with most devices when you play a video that came out audio is garbled, the video is basicly grainy/static, and sometimes the subtitles are in a different language. Please get your things in order crunchyroll youre making me hate your platform a little everyday.

I hate this. Every app excluding iTunes Movies/TV does this. Take a second or 2 to buffer, please!
Edit: I know for a fact iTunes used to buffer, but it appears they've gone with the pack, sigh.


The new update fixes the most annoying part of the app for me at least: clicking on a show in your queue takes it to the show page, while pressing Play/Pause plays your next episode.
