Is anyone else having issues while playing the image freezes, but the time code continues to advance. Eventually it continues playing but it skips all that has passed while the image was frozen.
Apple TV 2. Up to date.

Had problems connecting to Crunchyroll (and Netflix). Signing out and in from your Apple ID solved the problem.

Yes I am having the same problems. Also Apple TV2 with current updates.

Anime will play along fine for a while then seemingly freeze then jump to some point skipping over a scene or two. Rewinding and trying to replay doesn't work as it does exactly the same thing is the same @!#$ place! Watching the same anime on Hulu Plus with the same Apple TV and no problems at all - other than all the blasted commercials which is why I pay for CR in the first place. For me, this has been happening ever since CR came back up the other day after the DDOS attack.

I wonder if it has something to do with the new Cloudfire service CR has started using. Noticed that today when I started getting errors trying to access CR website to check the forum and Cloudfire was telling me there is a server error from CR server(s). What a pain. I really hope the people there at CR can get this back up and running smoothly very soon - it simply isn't worth paying for the service if it isn't going to work reliably.

The original DDoS attack itself probably occurred at a rather opportune time (many continuing series were on break), but if the aftereffects continue much longer, the timing is going to be very bad (the premieres of a new season of anime).

True for a lot of CR subscribers I am sure. My wife and I though have been catching up on series that we passed up for others prior to the new season shows. Assuming CR will actually get something we want to watch, because so far CR has not licensed anything for winter that we are interested in, Funimation unfortunately has but their channel is not available via Apple TV. Anyway, for us, this season break was an opportunity to marathon series we had not yet watched and as the days pass by without CR working well it becomes opportunity lost.

I love my Apple TV! But I havent been able to watch any anime recently! I've been trying since Saturday. I thought the Server might be maxed on the weekend, but now it's Monday! My iPad app won't play this week's new stuff either!

The system has been flakey since last week, but I allowed for kids being home and maybe a year end update. But now it's been too long and I'm starting to worry that I need to do something on my end!

Guys I'm going crazy..It's been almost 10 days now and still crunchyroll on apple tv freezes and the buffering continues almost for 5 min..It is taking me 50 min to finish each episode because of the connection...Is it me or what ? That wasn't the case before. It was very smooth..plz any advise

can't access Crunchy Roll on my ATV3 after updating the Apple TV 2 days ago. My ATV connects to everything else, except Crunchy Roll.

This is great, however one thing I've encountered, occasionally the anime will just pause for a second, and jump to the next episode in the series. Other times it will suddenly restart the episode I'm watching. Anyone encountered this before and possibly have a solution?
