How so? I feel like the Windows Phone app works just fine on my Nokia Lumia 1520. What do you feel is lacking/missing?

I think it depends what phone you are using, I have the Samsung ATIV I think (basically an S3, but running Windows not Android) and the app just doesn't fill the whole screen so a decent portion is wasted displaying nothing when I'm watching anime. I read somewhere that windows phone 8 added support for larger screens, so I thought the problem might be the app was created for 7 and hasn't been updated, but I don't know.

Interesting.. On the Lumia 1520, I'd say that 85-90% of the screen is used.. But you're spot-on that the app does not do "true" full screen. I feel silly for not noticing sooner. Hopefully a dev will see this thread and update the app!

You're right! I just moved from a Lumia 810 to the 1520, so the screen is already much larger, so I didn't notice the black bars around the edge.

Speaking of devs, since I started using Crunchyroll on my phone again, I was curious to see if there were other WP users that were looking for manga support, like on iOS and Android, in the native application.

I wouldn't mind having a native app on WP - especially considering the size of the screen on the 1520! :)

I moved from the 920 to the 1520, and the black bars bothered me so much, that I haven't used the Crunchyroll app nearly as much.
See, they should just give the Windows Phone app an update all around. Manga support would be awesome, 1080p support, and a new design.

first if it ain't broke don't fix it, as far as i know on my 928 it works fine. I don't really use it, the screen is too small to watch anything on anyway, and the data on Verizon is BS. But what is needed is a manga app for Windows 8.1, and future 10 devices, specifically designed for use on tablets like the Surface Pro 3, and the Wacom Companion. reading manga on a tablet is easier than reading on a monitor, anyhow.

I have been getting the "Internal Server Error" now for a few months with this app. Is it possible to fix this error nowadays? I've been running on mobile Windows 8.1 before with no problems, upgraded OS to Mobile 10, still the same error.
Does anyone knows how to fix it?
