When you use a public bathroom, do you feel like you should buy something first?

Sometimes certain places or stores require you to buy something from them if you want to use their bathrooms.

What do you do? Do you feel obligated to?

This is why i only stop at fast food restaurants.

Ill laugh at you if you tell me to buy something.

Well to be honest id probably buy a drink or something if it was anywhere else. Or just show them the desperation in your eyes, like please.... please I need this right now

when I got to go, I don't care. they can fuss or not, but that's on them and their problem. I just won't use their place of business in the future.

None of the above.

As a commuter who drives about 80 miles a day between school, work, and home, I always have 3 or 4 empty Gatorade bottles in my car. This is why you see a lot of half filled piss bottles in parking lots.

There's no relation for me between buying something and needing to go and do my business. If I need to go and I see a bathroom in a store, I'll go, regardless of whether or not I intend to buy something from the store. If a store required me to buy something before using the bathroom, then I would exit an irritated person (unless I purchased something from there online, and I'm entering the store to pick it up). They would have just lost a potential customer.

I ask if I don’t plan on buying anything & I don’t think I’ve ever been turned away.
If I’m ever told no then I will just try somewhere else, not gonna spend money to pee.

Pardon me, I meant to say half filled "apple juice" bottles. I've been doing this for past two years, and I'm sure I saved a lot on overpriced cup of coffee, pack of gum, etc.

Never thought of this. I've gone into restaurants to use a bathroom without getting anything

Nope, I never feel the need to buy something first unless it explicitly says that the restrooms are for customers only or whenever its locked and a passcode is needed in order to use it. There are there for a reason, and it's only a problem if a lot of people are trying to use it, which is why I realize that sometimes it's that way. But assuming that there is no code lock or a sign indicating that they are for customers only, I just use them without buying everything seeing that I'd quickly run out of money if I did that every time. So that's how I feel about that.
