I'd just make it myself or do without. I more often have coconut milk and coconut cream on hand than dairy cream, so it'd probably be a vanilla or sweet bean paste coconut ice cream on the menu.

since I don't eat ice cream anymore, it wouldn't bother me a bit that somewhere is without. and in some locations of the grocery stores are closed there's a slight possibility that other places will be closed to. in America the only time the major stores closes is due to some major holiday. with luck there's Walgreens and CVS, the only 24 hour, 365 day store so there will always be a place to get: bread, milk, other dairy, alcohol and even eggs! don't forget to pick up your medicine while you're there. can't help the other countries however, have to check your area(s)

I would go to either Baskin and Robbins or Brusters. They are both ice cream shops with a variety of flavors. I prefer Brusters, they make their own ice cream and I think you can also special order your own flavor in pint and quart sizes.

McDonald's. Unless DQ cakes count, I'd just have a slice of that bc they're great.

I would just go to my local ice cream parlor to get it and in Seattle that would be Cupcake Royale (despite the name, they do serve ice cream, and it's quite good). Their ice cream is better than anything than I can get out of the grocery store. But of the national chains, Cold Stone Creamery is where I would go as there are quite a lot of ways to customize my ice cream. So yeah, I wouldn't get it from McDonald's or Wendy's, though DQ I would as that's exactly what the specialize in.

Probably McDonald's. There are a couple local places with better varieties though.
