Thankfully, Crunchyroll has all 4 of those anime available for your viewing pleasure.

Which is why it makes no sense that they didn't get the streaming rights to this.

Because ISP's ruin everything. If you hadn't heard of what happened with the Funimation and Crunchryoll partnership. Then give it a google and you'll see why things are the way they are now.

There is still hope though! Last season How Clumsy You Are Miss Ueno, Domestic Girlfriend, The Magnificent Kotobuki, & Magical Index season 3 were not on the site on their premier day. but ended up on the site a few weeks later. I think we should all remember that, and have faith in Crunchyroll. If not, then don't sweat about it and just enjoy it if you can see it regardless.

Seen all shows, so there's a LOT of potential for comedy here.

That said, the first episode was mostly setup, so next week will be the litmus test.

Such a shame that CR didn't get this show, would have preferred it over them getting season 2 of OPM.

Seeing how well Shield Hero is doing, and it's another isekai from Kadokawa that I would have to think that there will be a sequel to this called Isekai Quintet with Naofumi and his party joining the class.

Yeah...that was due to their current partnership with Sentai though, you could see in the after credits of those shows that they were licensed by Sentai. Don't expect Funimation to give Crunchyroll anything.

Oops, left that part out like a dummy. What I meant and believe, is eventually the dumb circumstance that both Funi and CR are in with their ISP's being jerks will pass. I merely used those previously mentioned shows as an example of why we shouldn't count CR out. SPECIFICALLY Magical Index season 3 was the interesting part, Now I'm not 100% sure on the specifics of how this "NBC Universal" got a hold of the license. However it is a fact that when I look, BOTH Funi and CR have Index season 3. So all in all, I'm at least hopeful and have faith this will eventually be a thing of the past.

A lot of stuff in the Winter season was licensed before the partnership ended. Now we are seeing Fulmination get a lot of exclusives. I think we will start seeing MORE exclusives, instead of less.

I think Funimation and Crunchyroll are going to do everything they can to defend their exclusivity. Just look at Mob Psycho II and Rising of the Shield Hero. Funimation advertised that they would start streaming both of those shows in January, here we are 4 months later and they are neither streaming them, nor are they saying anything about what is going on with those shows. It seems likely to me Crunchyroll took their ball and went home. I wouldn't be surprised if Funimation blocks Attack on Titan Season 3 part 2 from Crunchyroll and any future seasons of My Hero Academia.

Isekai Quartet EP # 1 Come Together! Quartet

This is briiliant and funny Just think all 4 animes invovled are otherworld situationss with a lot not right characters

Someone has planted 4 mystereious buttons in all 4 worlds Mugumi sets one off / Overlord is cautious but one appears as he sits down/ Tanya is suppose to push a bomb button but ends up with 2 so she pushes them both / not sur who from Re: Zero but they arrive too !

Their world a school and all 4 groups have different ideas about each other TBC

Opening Theme:
"Isekai Quartet" Ainz Ooal Gown Satoshi Hino, Kazuma Sato Jun Fukushima, Subaru Natsuki Yūsuke Kobayashi and Tanya von Degurechaff Aoi Yūki

The ED is great !

Ending Theme:
"Isekai Girls Talk" by Yumi Hara, Sora Amamiya, Rie Takahashi, & Aoi Yūki / Albedo , Aqua ,Emilia , Tanya von Degurechaff

That was cute and fun. Didn't expect to like it, but I did.

Of the four shows I watched all of three, and a few episodes from Overlord, so I imagine I"ll continue to like it enough to commit the 12 minutes a week it will take.

I thought they kinda wasted the first episode with the getting there plot - usually these chibi shows don't bother to show how the characters arrive at school and just move forward.

I don't think that was waste at all. I enjoyed it a lot -- especially Tanya and her two buttons. It added humor that wouldn't be there if they just started in the classroom with no lead in plus it's appropriate for the concept. It really fits the idea that these are Isekai shows being smashed together. You kind of have to have that moment that shows the drop into another world.

That had me laughing. Not Konosuba curiosity. Not Overlord accident. But Tanya impatience.

Kind of curious to see the four protagonists get together and compare notes.

I watched this mainly because of Konosuba though I'm familiar with Re:Zero and Tanya too.

Is Overlord supposed to be funny? I liked how Skull Dude had this serious voice and then you can hear his thoughts in a normal voice lol.

Overlord is a regular office worker who suddenly found hims as his MMO character, surrounded by the loyal NPCs he and his guildmates created. They think he is the all powerful Supreme Being and the whole taking over the world plan started because they misinterpreted something he said. I think he found out he was taking over the world in season 3. He dose his best to behave as they expect because A) That's what a proper office manager would do and B ) He's kind of afraid of what will happen if they realize he's not what they think he is.

Basically he's someone Tanya might have fired in her/his first life.

(edit because B ) always turns into )

Overlord is serious but with some comedic moments, mostly coming from Ainz and his followers. Just imagine being a max leveled player with a ton of expensive items and suddenly you're transported to a world where the most powerful warrior is like 70 levels below you and you unintentionally become the villain who feels nothing when slaughtering humans. All the NPCs you made are also max level and view you as their god. That's Overlord in a nutshell.

Oh and the females want the bone.
