Just wondering how you guys read manga. For me personally, I hate reading it online. Having a physical copy and flipping through the pages feels so much better than clicking a screen. The only drawback I can think of about physical copies is the price though. Paying 12 dollars for one volume is kind of annoying considering how easy, and you know, free, it is to read it online.

I usually do read it online though just because of the accessibility and how you don't have to spend any money, although I do buy it physically if I really like it. What about you guys?

i read both physical and digital. and by that i mean i get digital manga from a legitimate source - Book Live
reading digital doesnt have to mean piracy. Book live also lets you download and read offline, which is very handy.
(its also miles better than the trash Crunchy app, but thats another story)

i strongly condemn manga and light novel piracy. the manga authors need all the help they can get, and even the most popular mangaka have an insane work schedule, sleeping for only 4 hours or so.

I prefer reading the physical copy of manga much much more than online and often online I end up dropping the series because I'm not too keen on reading manga online. But unfortunately, I don't have the money to buy physical manga. I really do want to read more manga and get more involved with the manga community though so I guess I'll have to get used to it.

I read both. I mainly raid my library for their volumes. I like finding hidden gems that I normally wouldn't find online.

Price-wise, I prefer digital. But for a series I really enjoy, there's nothing that beats the feel of paper in my hands.

Online because it's hard for me to read print material these days... my poor old eyes just don't like reading anything that's not on a screen.

I prefer reading manga physically wherever possible. That way, I can display it and I don't have to worry about battery running out before I finish it.

I prefer both physical and digital.

For the physical, I love having my favorite series up on my shelves for all to see, and when I'm home it's nice to hold the actual book and turn the pages.

Digital versions, mainly the ones I can read offline, are nice to have for when I'm forced to go visit family in another state. Before I ever had a Kindle (or any device that could download digital manga) I would stuff my backpack full of manga.. That got quite heavy.. Now I don't have to do that, just download the many I want to read before hand and take them all with me with out putting my back out.

I absolutely love having physical copies to read. It feels nice being able to touch the pages. But I'm scared to carry manga around with me in fear of them getting damaged.
I am considering using a digital app more regularly. I see Bookwalker is being talked about and I'm downloading my first volume of The Quintessential Quintuplets while waiting for my order at a cafe. Pretty neat to have access to a large library at anytime.

Right now I prefer paperback because it feels good to hold in your hands, idk it's just the idea of owning it physically that makes it better. Online is fine too, really convenient and to tons of options.

Makes no difference to me. I'll try a series online first (if possible) and buy it physically if I like it.

I was never much for digital mangas, to be honest. I always just love owning a physical copy. Nothing beats that experience.
Though, I do every now and then read digital as well as a way to kind of preview a series. Then I usually just go and buy the physicals if I like end up liking something. Works well for me that way.
