Maybe they're ripping off Weaveworld

Not watching, like with Island just hanging around the thread for a laugh

YU-NO: A girl who chants love at the bound of this world ( Kono Yo no Hate de Koi o Utau Shojo YU-NO) EP # 7 The Cause of the Curse

I want to be a scriptwriter XD / that frist third of the anime had so many plot holes /really / but was saved because someone managed to keep the story in one place and made it interesting

Rant # 1 They should rename this anime Takuya's world

Rant # 2 Tottalty confusing so Kanna says teacher Eriko is not there but her clothes are / yet she is in the classroom during testing w/o explaantion

Rant # 3 Just so many mistakes omitting Point A to Point B

Rant # 4 The overuse of previous flahbacks does little or adds to the confusion of what is going on w/o explanation We have seen Kanna 2 or 3 times putting her necklace away / also she knew Tayuka when younger but she is the same age as now and why Tayuka dont say anything is beyond annoying

Rant # 5 How can Tayuka leanes matters be instead of exposing thme making for problems later

Well, a whole lot of nothing went on in this episode.

All they did was double and triple down on things I had already suspected were happening.

1) The fact that Mitsuki and Takuya have probably boned (still no definitive proof that they have)

2) The fact that Ryuzoji is probably doing something to Mitsuki

3) The fact that Mio's dad is probably corrupt

4) The fact that Mio likes Takuya.

None of these were exactly huge revelations, we've had hints of them from pretty early in the show.

I don't feel like the episode name is appropriate here. The indication is that small fries like Mio, Takuya and Yuki don't know what the big fries like Ryuzoji is doing....but this episode didn't really explore that aspect. This was more about Takuya's relationship with Mio and Mitsuki.

YU-NO: A girl who chants love at the bound of this world ( Kono Yo no Hate de Koi o Utau Shojo YU-NO) EP # 8 "The Swallows and Sparrows Know Not"

My head is spining more than ever with going all over the pace For myself I need a fixed point in time to understand whats going on

The bigger problem for me is the cheap fanservice that does little to help the anime along Its quite the distraction IMO

And I think Yuno is just something the atrist / writer doodled because he was bored with his own story .

Oh yea Mio hates Tayuka / confides in him / then hates again My eyes are rolling

Episode 9

Well, the plot seems to be advancing again. We finally may start getting an understanding of what Takuya's dad was researching.

This episode brushed aside any vaguery about Mitsuki and Takuya's relationship. She's obviously still into him, and I would guess she was probably the first one to pursue him. He still seems to care about her, as a person, but he's moved on. I wonder if Mitsuki will get her own arc though....

The fact that Mitsuki had a migraine from Ryuzoji's hypnotism just before she went to help find Mio does not bode well though. I'm worried she will do something to put Takuya, Yuki and Mio in peril due to Ryuzoji's hypnotism.

I wonder if Takuya remembers what happened in his past alternate reality, because if he did, I'm surprised he didn't brush off Kaori right away.

I am also wondering if Yuki's little stunt is what got the media's attention with regard to Mio's father, and if all of this is shifting the reality, so that Ayumi won't be framed.

Takuya is obviously planning on some redos, because the already set a redo point with his device. I have a feeling that Mitsuki will betray them under Ryuzoji's hypnotism and that will cause him to have to skip universes. Of course if he does that, he will be put right back at the beginning again.....which could possibly be a Mitsuki arc, and trying to save her from Ryuzoji.

Also, we've seen this girl twice, and she is obviously sneaking around, but who is she, and why haven't we seen more of her?

Well the Mitsuki brainwash betrayal did happen, but that wasn't the impetus for him to use the dimension skip...yet

Seeing a vision of his mother in strange clothing, probably is showing that she is from the civilization that made the dimension skip device.

I am assuming that mountain was a prison/slave run mine that was mining the psychite for that civilization.

As far as Takuya fell into that lake, and then doing a belly flop, I don't think he would have survived, not without a bunch of broken bones. It was also interesting that he somehow washed up on shore completely dry.

Finding the dead body of the professor just seems to point out that all of the people investigating that mountain are fanatically stupid.

This is one of the shows that I look forward to the most every week.

I think the underlying story is interesting, I just don't think the show writers are tying it together very well. From what I've heard they are apparently trying to merge a bunch of different routes into the show, and this is creating plot holes.

I actually thought the writers of Steins;Gate 0 did a great job merging the routes of that Visual Novel together, but the Yu-No writers apparently are not.

I don't mind plot holes as long as the story is interesting though, and I enjoy trying to predict what is going on.

Episode 11

I didn't expect Takuya to be reset this quickly.

So, does he reset to the beginning of it all in his own universe and timeline? Does he skip to another universe at the beginning of the timeline. Do the things he does in one universe affect what happens in the other universes? He declined to use the reflector device to save Mitsuki until he got Mio out of the cave, because he wasn't sure what would happen to her in that universe if he left to go save Mitsuki...so now that he is resetting, does that mean the Mitsuki of that universe and timeline remains dead?

The way his father spoke, Ryuzoji isn't even human....he called him a "thing".

I would have worried that destroying the device under the mountain would render the reflector device useless though.

There were a lot of mistakes and bugs in the subtitles on Crunchyroll for this episode.
