Episode 2

After getting stumbling across a relic that Ryuzoji is willing to kill him over, the mysteries deepen. So after a talk, it's off to the shores where they see Kanna in front of a large rock with something written on it. While there's a mystery to be solved, there is person from a leasing company who's ordering it to be removed, all while the mayor's daughter lets that guy know that something like this requires approval. As it turns out, that relic allows Takuya to travel back in time so that he can save Ayumi from a couple of thugs from the leasing company. That's still quite a lot I don't get, but that relic's power is really something if used right.

Mio is also more obserative than I had thought..

Seem like Takuya realizes how to put his powers to good use but I still wonder what the hell is going on with his whole episode's plot. Somehow, I have a feeling that writing has a connection to Takuya.

Also, I'm starting to get used to the opening theme song of this show now. One of the better ones imo this season.

Yeah...Island and Steins;Gate were definitely inspired by this story, probably Punch Line too....although, this show wants to shout out to Steins;Gate too....

This dude...if it hurts when you travel to a parallel world, perhaps don't spam it against those brawlers?

Also it's a bloody dangerous game if you don't have access to the device, say it was lost, stolen, or if you become incapacitated. To be fair, he was under pressure, but I hope he works out these limitations soon.

I'm not sure he knows he is traveling to parallel worlds though. He just sees it as a reset button

That fight didn't really make sense even from the logic of that episode sadly.

A tool to slip to parallel worlds would not let you go back in time to the start of that fight.

The other reason as explained in that episode is that the whole reason you are using the tool is because you just lost the fight thus the loss of the fight is a fixed point in history and you cant change it.

It could be argued that he is jumping to worlds where he hasn't entered the building yet...but he wouldn't be able to control that. It's just as likely he would jump to a universe where he didn't even follow his step-mother, or a universe where those guys had a gun and killed him.

Yeah the other problem is that time would have moved on for people inside the building so as he repeats each time his step-mom would be in a worse position each time around.

It does seem a bit silly to use it as a time machine in the very same episode that you were told that it's not a time machine - sadly I don't think they intended that irony.

YU-NO: A girl who chants love at the bound of this world ( Kono Yo no Hate de Koi o Utau Shojo YU-NO) EP # 2 "Parallel World Constitutive Theorem"

I have like / dislike feelings for this anime It seems there is a lot to be had but the script seems all over the place giving sub-atomic bits of infro

I know its 24 EPS but you need to let people understand a few things We have the Mysterious Kanna Then the naked cute girl who is probally Yuno

Then a lot of babble talk w/o making things clear

Takuya reads the manual and trys some tests with device

Takuya helps Ayumi puttogether hsi dad's files for Ryūzōji with helo from the paranormal club ( Shimazu / Yuki ) One thing stands out Japan goes through a history change every 400 years from outside factors

They later go to Mt Sankaku where trange things hav ebeen happening They find Kanna there who eems to be leaving the flowers there But she diesnt say anything too much

Later our trio confront Toyotomi the constuction site boss who tells them Mt Sankaku is going to be torn down and the mayor OK it Problem is Shimazu is the mayors daughter and she will ask him
Toyotomi flees

Later Ayumi didnt come for dinner and Takuya goes to look for her after having the flashbacks

Ayumi is being forced to hand over Takuya father files to some thugs He treis to intervene but when he fails he sends himself back and starts over with diffeerent tactics Then Toyotomi shows up

Episode 3

Takuya just looks miserable after getting beaten to a pulp, but he's fine. While that's happening, the protests to stop the construction are in full force, and there's the whole lightning strikes incident that is leading to a lot of arguing and stuff with Ayumi taking the brunt of it. And it's particularly personal for Ayumi seeing that her husband was killed in a cave-in. This episode was pretty much about Ayumi as she has been through quite a lot.

That episode was kind of boring, and a little all over the place. I can definitely see the eroge pedigree of the story. It seemed like the MC was working on all the routes in that episode.

It's obvious the guy who works with Takuya's step-mother paid those goons to assault her so he could come in and "save the day". I figured it was because he is trying to impress her, but when he secretly stole her envelope later, it makes me wonder if he has motives beyond trying to seduce her. Takuya seems to see right through him though. I bet he suspects him of paying the goons too.

I'm still trying to figure if Takuya has a thing for his step-mom or if he just cares for her as family. I am sure in the original eroge, he got with her. She seems to be fairly flirty with him, at least while drunk.

I'm not sure what the green haired news woman's game is. It seems like she set up the bike-by egging of Ayumi, and she was apparently bringing in protesters. I am not sure if she is just trying to pad her reputation, or she has a motive to submarine Ayumi and her company

YU-NO: A girl who chants love at the bound of this world ( Kono Yo no Hate de Koi o Utau Shojo YU-NO) EP # 3 Tears cant be Stopped

I'm kinda annoyed with the flow of things / not only that I find most of the characters to be so dismal phoney IMO

BTW the most reveals are just lighting

I guess when you have 26 episodes to play with, you can waste time on an entire eppie where virtually nothing happens. The story didn't advance at all. Nothing was learned that we didn't already know. Hope we don't get too many more like this.

I can only speculate that it was a set up episode.

Shady co-worker of Ayumi pays dudes to attack her only go come in and play the hero...also secretly steals her envelope.

Kanna has some weird necklace that triggers a flashback for Takuya

Green haired reporter lady is apparently paying people to protest and assault Ayumi, so she can discredit her on the air

The lady with the short brown hair who is the secretary to the dude who pulled a gun on Takuya is having migraines, and talking about the dude she works for having weird personality changes.

These all have to be a set up for something later in the story.
