I'd assume this is coming to Crunchyroll since they debuted the trailer at their anime awards.

I'm glad a new Spring Show is starting this early.

Pretty sure that Crunchyroll hasn't announced this one yet. Either this one was a bilibili show or Crunchyroll is just incompetent in terms of announcing shows.

They often don't announce that they are streaming a show until the second it goes up for streaming. The fact that they debuted the English trailer during their anime awards makes me think they are going to stream it though.

Well, YU-NO is streaming on bilibili, though they don't seem to be listed on the credits. My guess is that this one will go to FUNi if Crunchyroll still hasn't announced the show within the day.

And here I thought that it was CR's all this time. Seeing that I was planning to return to take advantage of the free upgrade that now would be a good time as ever to re-up my subscription to Funi.

Episode 1

So it begins with Takuya not exactly thrilled that the construction is going on as there's a huge campaign to stop it. Then he stumbles upon some mysterious relic that Ryuzoji wants for himself holding Takuya at gunpoint to get, and a mysterious girl. Pretty interesting start here as there are lots of mysteries going on, especially regarding his father who is gone, but not dead yet.

Yeah, this was a strange start.

I really hope they find a way to develop Takuya cause he seems like a really plain protagonist in this show. Then, there's Yuno and I guess the show will explore her origins later. That aside, I guess there's a feeling of mystery in this?

Hmm...I'm getting Island, Nanana's Buried Treasure and a little Steins;Gate 0 vibes. I hope this is better than Island....

The part about his parents being in another space kind of reminds me of Antman and the Wasp too, where the father was apparently trying to retrieve the mother from wherever this space is.

What kind of school is it that the MC is attending? It seems the school is some sort of research institute and has some sort of connection to the construction at the beach, but they appear to be High Schoolers. Half of them wear uniforms and half don't. The homeroom teacher dresses like she should be standing on a street corner propositioning Johns. The teacher that said she gave up teaching to be that dude's secretary seems to have a fairly intimate relationship with the MC, even if her sexual hints were just teasing.

I assume the MC gets away with a lot because his dad was some sort of big wig at the school and his step-mother is still a big wig at the school

I'm trying to play through the original game right now but it has certain... eccentricities that make it difficult. The anime is pretty loyal to the source material so far. The only real difference is the Nurse dresses substantially less slutty in the game. Step-mom is best girl

Sega Genisis? from what I saw the PC version was for some obscure platform.

I started watching the hentai and it was very much like this episode, but some characters switched up. I decided I didn't want to spoil the show though so stopped watching.

The PC version is rather difficult to get running right now, but Spike Chunsoft is releasing the remake worldwide sometime this year. If there is a hentai I have no idea why, this series has very little provocative content from what i understand.

the original PC-98 version apparently was an eroge, but the Sega version removed the sexual content.

I'm totally unfamiliar with the game, but so far so good. There's enough mystery going on to keep me intrigued. Pretty sure that School Nurse's outfit would violate real life educational attire standards... unless she was working for the coolest school ever.

Seems to be an unusual show, with some reeeeeeally relaxed school rules.

Since it involves parallel worlds, I'm going to hold my expectations on the low end, and see how it goes.
