While working on a new single, my engineer and I were putting together an AMV for the song's visual. While looking at other Hip Hip AMV i discovered that a lot of great music from the UK was being paired with these awesome videos and now I'm stuck. The UK has a dope grimy boom bap sound thats reminiscent of early 90s New York Hip Hop. What kind of tracks are ya'll listening to these days?

& if you guys wanna check out my AMV peep it here

I don't know if it's really hip-hop, but I love Wolpis Carter's "1%," which has fast-sung lines kind of like a rap rhythm.

Mumble rap just has this grooove thats so wavey at times. I really am into the slowed and reverbed side of things and Ive seen some really good Fonk hits where artists like DJ Yung Vamp has used vocals/ cuts from Future and Migos to create something way slick. Reminiscent of 90s era sampling.

Iam still pretty stuck in the 90's. I like funky west coast g funk type stuff, and grimy NY lyrical type stuff.

Stuck in the 90's and especially late 90's as well. A lot of Stones Throw stuff like Peanut Butter Wolf, Quasimoto, Madlib, Rasco.

Also DJ stuff like DJ Shadow, DJ Krush, Mix Master Mike

Also listened to Geto Boys, Pharcyde and R.A. the Rugged Man recently.
