On his wedding day, a man looks back on the day he met his bride-to-be:

Poverty stricken and debt ridden top student Futaro Uesugi gets word of a great tutoring assignment paying 5 times the going rate, to teach a new transfer student, Itsuki Nakano, who he has just offended and insulted. Trying to apologize, he runs into heavy interference from 4 other girls, but it's not until he reaches Itsuki's home that the truth comes out: He's not just Itsuki's tutor, he's the tutor for Itsuki and the 4 other girls, who are not only all sisters, but identical quintuplets! It's up to socially awkward yet super-smart Futaro to see about getting all 5 quintuplets to pass, and they're all in terrible students in danger of failing! Not only that, one of the girls, in birth order, Ichika, Nino, Miku, Yotsuba, and Itsuki, is the bride he's going to marry in the future!

I put this up since I couldn't believe there wasn't a forum on this manga for the great anime that's on CR.

I had a really weird thought ...it's not really a spoiler but I'll post it as one just in case ...

I'm probably wrong but it would make for an interesting twist.

There was some speculation some time ago at the forum thread for the anime. Someone did a good analysis of the bride's body language from the first few chapters and concluded that it is probably Miku. https://www.crunchyroll.com/forumtopic-1045578/the-quintessential-quintuplets-discussion?pg=14#58032493

Given how the other two contenders have been developing in the last few chapters of the manga I am pretty much convinced at this point that she is the only one that could be considered a harem romcom "heroine".

I'm still fully Team Miku so I hope whoever did that analysis is right. In the manga it seems ...

I've always had a soft spot for characters that can express their emotions because I have a hard time doing that irl so honestly, I'd rather see Nino make it. If not Nino, then Ichika.

Miku is probably the cutest but for me, she's tied for last with Yotsuba, and Yotsuba is only there because she hasn't really even developed feelings for Futaro.

With me it's kind of the opposite. I prefer seeing the underdog fight for the guy she loves. Yotsuba, Ichika, Itsuki or even Nino can pretty much get any guy they want. Miku hasn't wanted any until sensei came along . It seems more like the others all "like" him but she's most likely the only one who could be in "love" with him. Ichika is close but honestly the other three don't seem as much into him as those two.

Does anyone know around which day of the week the translated manga is released?

neugenx yea I agree. But maybe there just hasn't been enough time for the others to develop their feelings. It is a harem manga after all lol

I don't think your spoiler spoils anything. If anything, it's something that a lot of people seem to miss, despite it staring everyone right in the face. Yes, it's a rom-com, yes, it's a harem show, but what it is at it's heart is a mystery: Which Quint is Futaro going to marry?

Mysteries need misdirection, so expect that to continue.
