I have the same issue on my Roku TV. The right arrow is a workaround for the time being, but I hope this is solved soon.

Having the same issue! Thought I somehow disabled autoplay on the app but then when I couldn't find the setting I decided to google a bit and landed here.

Glad to know it's an app/roku problem!

I am also having the same issue. Screen goes black after an episode plays. I have to back out each time to start the next episode its a bit of a hassle. Seems like this has been happening for a few weeks.

Devices: Roku3 ( 4230x) & Roku4 (4400x)

Instead of backing out, push the right directional arrow on the navigation cross. It's not a fix, but is less annoying.

This is the response I received from Tech Support after waiting almost a month:

"Hello ____,

I'm not sure the developers understand the problem. There has been no service update to the Roku app since 2015, the issue is not resolved, and autoplay does not work on the Roku app.

This is an across the board issue with all Crunchyroll Roku users, it has not been fixed. My question is, will it be fixed?

My opinion about this response is pessimistic, as in 'Ignore the problem and it shall eventually get tired and go away'.

I'd like to hear other Roku users opinions.

Same issue, has been occurring since about a month to a month and a half ago. It still occurs up to time of post.
I'll try the workaround, it would be nice if Crunchyroll got this fixed though, sometimes you just want to binge anime or you really want to get through a series, and this bug just ruins that experience.

Yo' Crunchyroll devs, I'm a programmer as well and I love my anime. Let's get this working please, hit me up if you need some help debugging this issue with an end user.

i finally got a response to my support ticket and was told to delete the app, deactivate in my profile and reinstall it. i did that with both of my devices and went as far as factory resetting them and got the same results. have gone as far as taking them over to someone else's house just to rule out my network. its been a month now, this is getting frustrating.

Just to further add a +1 I too am having the issue. Roku Premier stick, and Roku 2. Latest updates on all devices and Apps.

IMO, zero chance.

This company no longer cares. I base that on the site shutdowns, failure to respond to requests for help, and failure to update software. The impression I get from all this is that Crunchyroll is a site going down fast.

I hope I'm wrong, I love anime and I loved this site.

We really appreciate your feedback, I notified our DevOps team so they should fix this issue asap. While we fix this I recommend linking your Crunchyroll account to VRV (http://vrv.co) and see if you're able to watch the same show from there. i got that from customer service.i'm not switching to VRV. Hidive told me to do the same thing after i asked them in what year will we get the roku app. i told them a year and a half is to long of a wait for an app and canceled my service. if crunchyroll does the same i guess i will stick with just funimation.

i have found that the back button and left arrow still work after a episode ends. press the left arrow to go back one episode and the back button to go back to the main menu. it does take a while to load and does not always work.
