Hope that helps

Last week I covered deafness in A Silent voice and a possible treatment for Shoko. This week I am covering how you could use A Silent Voice in the classroom. Now I know the obvious choice would be for a unit on bullying, but it can also be used in a science classroom which is where my focus will be.

this site is awesome. The design, presentation, everything is fantastic. The only thing that would make this better is it these were youtube videos with examples and added presentation features

The forums seem to funky as of late, so I didn't see this until now but I have been thinking about doing some youtube stuff. The problem I have is finding the right clips of the anime I need.

William Shakespeares play Romeo and Juliet is a staple of English classes, and has been adapted ocuntless times. Is it possible to use the anime/manga version in English classes to engage with anime/manga fans, and/or just make things more interesting.

In the greater gundam multiverse the universal century and cosmic era timelines both have instances where nuclear powered gundams blew up in nuclear explosions. However physics tells a slightly different story. First off can we have gundam sized nuclear reactors, and could those reactors explode like a nuclear bomb.

What specifically is the problem with finding the right clips?

some times I can not find the anime in quesiton on youtube, and other times, I can find the episode but I'm not a video editor so I can't cut it down to the length i need. For example the scene where the freedom explodes for my gundam nuclear reactor post.

I've had several requests to review and delve into the science of A Centaur's Life, and I've finally gotten around to watching it so let the fun begin. These are just my thoughts on the series before I have fun looking into the science.

A Centaur's Life has a unique take on evolution in that it tries to play it straight for the most part, only changing it enough to allow for six limbs. In the process what does it get right, and wrong about evolution? Can humans really have 6 limbs?

Dang, this is pretty impressive work. I'm enjoying working through the articles one at a time.

I'm a bit of a science geek myself, with a specialism in psychology and mental health. If ever you have an idea for something to work on together, let me know!

Thanks, and I'm glad your enjoying it. I haven't done anything related to mental health yet, but I will be doing a panel on PTSD in mecha anime at Otakon this year. I find the psychology ones harder to approach as I don't watch the anime that have those, and my knowledge there is more limited plus, that topic is rife with issues and I really want to get it right.
